Sergey Merkurov House-museum
Located in the heart of Gyumri, this house-museum tells the story of the famous sculptor and artist Sergey Merkurov. It is included in the list of immovable monuments of history and culture of Gyumri.
It was founded in 1984, but after the devastating earthquake of 1988, it became a temporary shelter for people. Later, in 2003, the house-museum was thoroughly renovated.
The museum exhibition has more than 3000 specimens. Here there are the sculptor's portraits of various famous people: Leo Tolstoy, Hovhannes Tumanyan.
